Sugar Mountain Fraser Firs is a small, family farm located in the center of the natural range for Fraser Firs. We have ideal conditions for growing high quality Fraser firs; 4,000 feet elevation, fairly level terrain allowing sunlight to reach all sides of the trees, and fertile, well-drained soil.

Our small size, terrain, and on-site storage area allows us to wait until November 15 to begin harvesting for our retail lot in Columbia, SC. We continue re-stocking with fresh trees into December, not because it's easy or efficient, but because we are committed to giving our customers the "fresh tree advantage."
